What to Expect from Free Intro to Pilates Classes

If you're new to Pilates and want to experience the equipment before committing to a class pack or membership, this is the easiest place to start. Our Free Intro to Pilates classes are open to all levels and welcome anyone curious about how Pilates feels, sounds, and moves.

 

Each 55-minute session runs with a group of up to eight participants. You'll get a guided overview of the reformer, including how the carriage moves, what the springs do, and how to set yourself up safely. You'll learn the cues and vocabulary your instructor will use in regular classes, and you'll work through a form-focused beginner sequence that connects breath to movement. Time is built in at the end for questions about scheduling, class levels, packages, or anything else you want to know before booking your first regular class.

 

Free Intro to Pilates classes rotate frequently between our Lewes, Rehoboth, Bethany, Fenwick, Easton, and Middletown studios and are offered from September through May. If a smaller group with more personalized attention sounds like a better fit, our Beginner Workshops give you that with three to four participants. And if you'd rather start one-on-one, a private intro session is designed for exactly that.
