Our Reformer Classes
Basic classes are fundamental in nature. They introduce Pilates principles, terminology, and simple movement patterns. Exercises are low intensity, highly supported, and include ample rest and instruction. Focus is on accessibility, safety, and confidence-building.
Level 1 classes are appropriate for basic beginner to early intermediate clients. Exercises are performed in supported positions such as supine or seated. No standing, kneeling, balance challenges, or inversions. Emphasis is on alignment, breath, control, and foundational strength. Level 1 classes should include intelligent regressions and progressions to meet the needs of each client.
Level 1.5 classes introduce slightly more challenging exercises and may include balance challenges (kneeling and standing) and intermediate inversion exercises taught with clear progressions. Flow, endurance, and coordination are increased while maintaining precision and control.
Level 2 classes are fully intermediate. They include advanced sequences, reduced rest, load variations, multi-planar movement, and inversion work. Classes can also be taught at a faster pace. Clients are expected to have strong knowledge of Pilates principles, technique, and vocabulary.

This restorative all levels reformer class is designed to increase flexibility and mobility through functional movement. We will be using small props in addition to the reformer to stretch and strengthen the muscles, as well as mobilize the joints and fascia (connective tissue). Each class will focus on a different part of the body, and ways to explore creating more space and freedom of movement in class and in your daily life.
We also offer Stretch & Mobilize Mat.
