What to Expect in a Beginner Workshops
Our Beginner Workshops are designed for new movers who want a slower pace, more guidance, and the reassurance of a small group setting before joining regular classes. With just three to four participants per session, you'll receive the kind of individualized attention that helps you feel genuinely prepared, not just introduced.
Each 55-minute workshop walks you through the foundations of Pilates: how the equipment works, how the spring system creates resistance, and how to set yourself up safely for every exercise. You'll learn the alignment and breath cues your instructor will use in future classes, build the core connection that makes every movement more effective, and explore the most common beginner mistakes so you know how to self-correct as you grow.
Beginner Workshops sit between our Free Intro to Pilates classes and one-on-one private sessions. If a larger group feels too fast and a private session feels like more than you need, this is the option built for you. The smaller setting also means more time for your questions, real-time feedback on your form, and a stronger foundation before you book your first regular class at our Lewes, Rehoboth, Bethany, Fenwick, Easton, or Middletown studio.
