Reformer Pilates Teacher Training
The Right Balance Pilates Reformer Teacher Training Program is an immersive, in-studio training path delivered across eight modules in one of our studios. The program combines classroom instruction, supervised teaching practice, and dedicated mentorship to prepare graduates to teach group Reformer Pilates classes with confidence, safety, and skill.
Right Balance Pilates is the only state-licensed Pilates education center in Delaware, led by educators with more than thirty years of combined teaching and training experience. Class size is intentionally limited to ten trainees per cohort to allow for personalized instruction and meaningful hands-on practice.

Program Scope
The Right Balance Pilates Reformer Teacher Training Program prepares instructors to teach group Reformer Pilates classes in a community setting. The curriculum is built around clients who have been medically cleared for group instruction and addresses safe progressions, modifications, and considerations for working with a range of bodies and abilities.
While the program covers core safety and modification frameworks, it is not an extensive education in pathologies or contraindications. Many graduates choose to pursue continuing education in those areas alongside or following completion of the program.
Program Requirements
Alongside the in-studio modules, trainees complete the following self-study and practice hours. All hours are logged and signed off by a lead instructor. We recommend three to four hours per week of in-studio practice to progress through the program.
Class observation: ten hours
Assistant teaching: five hours
Supervised teaching: ten hours
Physical self-mastery: ten hours
Leveled practice time: ten hours
Group classes: minimum of ten group classes at Right Balance Pilates
Required reading: completion of all assigned texts
Exams: passing grade on practical and written exams (passing score is 80 percent)
