Madeline Haslam
Instructor
Madeline grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and moved to Lewes with her now husband in 2021, where she quickly found a strong sense of community through movement. With degrees in psychology and behavioral neuroscience, she has always been interested in the connection between the mind and body, and how movement can support both physical and mental health.
Madeline discovered Pilates as a natural extension of her love for mindful and functional movement. Coming from a background in yoga, barre, and cycle, she was drawn to Pilates for its ability to build deep, intelligent strength while emphasizing control, breath, and intention. After experiencing how powerful and supportive the practice felt in her own body, she knew she wanted to share that experience with others.
Madeline is a certified mat and reformer Pilates instructor through Right Balance Pilates and also holds a 200-hour yoga certification. She teaches a variety of movement formats throughout coastal Delaware, creating classes that blend strength, mobility, and mindfulness in an accessible and encouraging environment.
When she’s not teaching, Madeline works full-time as a data analyst and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She is also an avid runner and amateur horseback rider. Outside of movement and school, you can usually find her spending time with her husband and two black cats or exploring state and national parks.
