As a RIGHT BALANCE teacher trainer, you will begin a journey into the world that Joseph Pilates created so many years ago, by enhancing your knowledge and expertise through our contemporary teacher training program. All of our master instructors are all comprehensively trained and will serve as mentors throughout your educational continuum.

OUR PROGRAMS


balanced body®Trapeze Table teacher training

Provides a thorough introduction to Trapeze Table and Tower exercises as well as applications for beginning, post–rehabilitation and advanced clients. This training is appropriate for students working with the Allegro® or Allegro 2 Tower of Power®, Half Trapeze and Wall Tower as well as those working with full Trapeze Tables. Sequencing programs using multiple pieces of equipment are covered as well as equipment set up, safety and maintenance.

Reformer Pilates Teacher Training
 

The RBP Reformer Teacher Training Program was designed to support the mission, vision and values of Right Balance Pilates and make becoming an instructor accessible to all. Our Reformer Teacher Training Program is one module within a larger Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program.  

The RBP Reformer Teacher Training Program will guide students through:

  • Required Reading

  • 8 Classroom Sessions

  • Class Observation

  • Assistant Teaching (Group and Private)

  • Supervised Teaching (Group and Private)

  • Self Mastery

  • Practical and Written Examinations

Individuals considering registering for this course should have a basic understanding of anatomy and the Pilates industry and, have taken a minimum of one month of Pilates sessions. Please email our training team at info@rightbalancepilates.com if you are interested.

Anatomy in Three Dimensions™
by Balance Body

A unique exploration into the anatomy of the human body. Build muscles in clay on a specially designed skeleton and imprint the body’s design deeply into your mind.  Anatomy in Three Dimensions™ is a compelling/effective, engaging and fun way to learn the basics of musculoskeletal anatomy. By building the muscles with your own hands you will develop a deep understanding of the structure and function of the human body. Learn the structure and function of bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves, as well as the origin, insertion and action of the muscles. This course pairs muscle function with specific exercises in order to reinforce and apply the anatomical information to movement. Muscles and joints from the knees through the shoulders are covered.

Who Should Attend

AI3D is great for beginners as well as anatomy nerds! Pilates and yoga instructors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, personal trainers, athletic trainers, physical therapists, osteopaths, etc., are welcome. Anyone who works with the body will gain a deeper understanding of how the muscles and bones affect movement.

MAT Pilates Teacher Training

The Right Balance Pilates Teacher Training Program is designed to provide access to Pilates Group Mat classes in the community. Our Mat Program is one module within a larger Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program.  

The RBP Mat Teacher Training Program will guide students through an 8 week session which will include:

  • Required reading

  • 4 Classroom Sessions

  • Class Observation

  • Assistant Teaching

  • Supervised Teaching

  • Physical Mastery

  • Practical and Written Examinations

After finishing this program, instructors will be able to understand and teach the 34 classical Pilates Mat and 10 contemporary Pilates Mat exercises.  This repertoire includes various orientations to gravity, use of props and integration of modifications and variations.

MOTR® Instructor Training BY BALANCED BODY

The MOTR combines the core training of Pilates, the strength and power of aerobic conditioning, the functional exercises of a pulley system and the balance and release exercises of a foam roller, MOTR gives you everything you need to teach classes, small group or one on one training. MOTR is the ideal compliment to a Pilates, personal training or rehabilitation practice enhancing balance, aerobic capacity, strength and flexibility while performing fun, functional exercises clients respond to and enjoy.

MOTR® Fundamentals (8 Hours)

The Fundamental MOTR course includes instruction on the basic movements in each exercise category as well as an introduction to the Balanced Body Programming System for easy class design to help you teach dynamic 30 – 60 minute classes with ease.

You will quickly see how the MOTR fits into any Pilates or personal training practice. The rounded surface of the MOTR adds balance and stability challenges to many exercises which creates a fun, functional training tool in a small footprint.

Fundamentals Course Includes:

  • Exercise instruction in the fundamental MOTR exercise categories.

  • Detailed manual, DVD and ongoing video support.

  • The Balanced Body Programming System to help you design and deliver successful and effective classes.

  • Progressions, regressions and modifications to make MOTR training useful for everyone.

  • Sample classes to get you teaching right away.

  • Equipment safety and maintenance.
